July Foodie Penpal!

I have to brag a little bit, I have hit the foodie penpal jackpot! I have been so lucky with all of my foodie penpals and the awesome creations they have sent me!  Each one has opened me up to loving a new treasure and I really do love them for that!

This month was awesome!! My foodie penpal is Natalie at Fresh Life Findings and she really went above and beyond to make this box awesome!

Do you see the raincoast crisps? Holy Moly are they AMAZING! I ordered them from Amazon in bulk because I love them and think they are perfect for our hiking vacation!

Oh and these little beauties are Oh She Glows Happy Trails Adventure Cookies . They were packaged so cute and they were great! I had them on my to make list and couldn't be happier to try them out! I will be making them really soon!

She also made her note to be based on a quote that I put on my blog this month! How stinking thoughtful! Love it!

Thanks a bunch Natalie, I loved it all!! You Rock!

My life is CRAZY right now! We have had a very mellow summer but as we are coming to an end, we are busier than ever! This is Avery's first year in all day school and getting everything set up has been crazy! I have managed to get all of her school clothes shopping done, new shoes and supplies done! Yesterday we did final registration and paid for everything you could possible imagine! She is also signed up for soccer and gymnastics this fall so our schedule will much different compared to previous years. I honestly cant believe in a half a month I will be dropping her off at her school and she will be gone ALL.DAY.LONG! I am so not ready for that! I told Brian yesterday maybe we should reconsider home school, I was just kidding because Avery doesn't do well with me as her teacher but I sure will miss her!

Remember how I mentioned the other day how nice and clean my house was? Well it all changed on Tuesday, of course! Brian had to work from home to watch the girls a bit while I went to school and when I came home it was disorderly but not messy. Around 11 we noticed we had a wasp in the house and than all the sudden we had four freaking more! We were on a mission to figure out where they were coming and a lot of caulking, patching and covering was happening. I am happy to report we have had no wasp siting since our rampage and the living room is back in order!

I did manage to change out the wood blinds in my living room with more of a texture based roman shade and I love them! They are so much easier to use with kids around and they really do add a dimension I was not expecting! As I was changing them out I decided my goal for September is to paint my living, entry way and hall way. I am on a mission to find a creamy whitish grey that doesn't look too pink or too blue!

On a bright note, I did get to get dressed cute since I was going out of the house without the kids! I finally got to wear this necklace I got off Groopdealz like a year ago and I love it! I also decided since it was cute it meant I didnt need to do any house work when I got home! Too bad the wasps decided differently!
