One thing that comes very easy to me to me when blogging is pointing out other bloggers who I love! I think sometimes we all get in the rut of just reading as fast as we can through our feed readers, or scanning through websites but not taking the time to comment. I try very hard to comment on as many things as I can...so you know that I love you and the content you are providing me! So every once and a while (and hopefully every other Thursday in my Favorite Things Thursday) I have to point out the blogs that really inspire me and help me be a better blogger. Although I live far far away from some of my favorite bloggers, I love connecting with them through email and other social media sites.
One of my favorite blogs at the moment is Brown Eyed Baker! First off I love the name and sing brown eyed girl every time I think of her blog. A catchy name is always a good thing when it comes to blogging....this is one I will never forget! I love the passion that Michelle has for food, photography and sports, which for some reason makes me love her even more and I am not a big sports fan! I think I just love her passion in both her food and other areas of life! Her pictures on her site are great and she didnt even use a SLR until this year...so she is a perfect example that you can take great photos with what you have!! Her food is amazing and everyone of her recipes I have tried has been great and super easy to make! Umm remember these....delish!!
With photography on my brain almost 24/7 these days, I need to draw inspiration from somewhere. I love looking at all the photography blogs attached to business but sometimes I want some everyday realness and Kelly over at Kidnapped by Suburbia, is able to fill my cup in this area! Her pictures are amazing...she is totally humble at her amazing photography abilities and she has two adorable little girls...much like me! In reality I want to be her or just shadow her for a few days and learn all her skills!!
My favorite everyday food blog is Annie's Eats! Her blog is adorable and her food recipes are great and look great! If I am ever in need of a recipe or have some people coming over I didn't except, I head over to Annie's Eats! I know I will find something that will work and be a real crowd pleaser!!If I could sit and cook with anyone, it would be Annie!
I love looking at houses, I love getting ideas from bloggers and seeing all the fun they create. I can't wait tell we move and I get to start working on things all over again and the whole newness feeling! Since we are not moving at the moment or doing any big projects, I love living through Sherry and John at Young House Love, as they embark on a new home. I can't wait for each blog update they have to see what is going on in my surrogate home.
Some blogs are around just to make you feel like...hey they understand me. They write down the words that are exactly how I am feeling this very moment. Sometimes I don't feel good, or wake up thinking I am a good mama or sometimes I just want to live through the pictures I take. Beth over at You Should Be Folding Laundry and Beth Fletcher Photography seems to say the words I want to say and take the picture I dream to take one day!
I really could pick a 100 more blogs like Cassies two blogs Cassie Craves or Life Unsues, Kelly over at The Miller Mix, Tiffany at No Ordinary Homestead..but my kids would go crazy if I kept going! I love you all and thank you for blogging such good stuff!
