Christmas Mantel 2013

I love decorating my home and changing thing around all the time, so Christmas is the perfect time of year to start experimenting! This year I wanted to change things up and throw my whole family for a curve ball! I decided we would move the Christmas down to our Family room and the living room would be a little more understated!

Christmas Mantel 2013

I have future plans for this fireplace to make it a little more in tune with my style but for the moment I can work with it and love how the mantel turned out this year!

Christmas Mantel 2013

The best part is the real garland, I just love the way it hangs and how it really just fills the area without much work on my part! The reindeer heads are my FAVORITE estate sale find this year! I just truly adore them, they are perfect for my Wyoming themed Christmas! (I went to WY this year and cant get it out of my head so I did the living room with thoughts of WY!)

These berries also seem perfect for the mantel to add color and they just really pop with my little silver vase!

I have another mantel in our family room with the stockings but I forgot to take pics of it! I went with a red, green, white candy theme downstairs!

It's Fall Y'All and Halloween on My "Mantels"!

I am a big fan of this season, so adding a little fall beauty around my house is always nice! I decided this year I would do a little fall in the living room but feature more Halloween decor in the rest of the house since the girls love it just a bit more!

Fall Mantel

My living room mantel got a little change up over the season. I switched the mirror from a rectangle to oval copper colored mirror, added some pumpkins and flowers to my coffee bean pottery barn vases. Its simple but something I really enjoy!

Fall Decor

I love the bright colored table with the fall touches on it!

Kitchen Halloween "Mantle"

I loved my halloween mantle last year that I decided to recreate it a bit in my kitchen. It works so perfectly now that I have my redone kitchen buffet

Kitchen Halloween "Mantle"

I love this little gourd I got last year, I love the talent on Esty! Bummer it doesnt look like she is selling this year, but at least it looks like others are.

Halloween Family Room Decor

This is a little peak at the "mantel" (actually just ledge!) in my family room. I am not sure I have ever shown you my family room, I will have to get on that. Crazy I havent because it is my favorite room in the house!

Christmas Mantel 2010!

christmas mantel 2010

I love decorating for Christmas! It is such a wonderfully colorful season, it just makes you smile every time you see it! My mantel is one of my favorite things to decorate. I was sure if I could beat my Halloween Mantel but the bright fun colors of the Christmas season always win me over! I think I need to still tweet it a bit (fix the blank spot on the left side) but I think overall it looks good! Maybe I will hang some ornaments or add a few poms!

painted candles on christmas mantel 2010

Since I painted my side table turquoise, I wanted to incorporate the color into my mantle. I had a couple of candles that go on my mantel during the off season so I thought about adding them. I usually only do red glitter ones so I changed it up a bit this year! I kind of like the change and am working on adding some turquoise to the tree!

I also like to incorporate the snowflake glitter stars from our tree to bring them together a bit!

Everything from my mantel is from Pottery Barn except the colored candles (which I painted to match the rest of the room) and topiaries, which are from Marshalls years ago!
